Some people may not know, however, my relationship with Aunt Mary Ann goes way back. I was the flower girl in her and Uncle Billy's wedding. We were very close. I remember going to her house to spend time and she would let me play in her makeup (every little girls dream). Visits to their house to get snowballs for my kids were always fun. I would jump in and help when there was a long line. Katrina separated many of us in so many different ways. Distance and just life didn't allow me to visit their home, however, God would set up meetings in Sams, Regions bank in Slidell and our favorite lil grocery store, Mizers. We would catch up a little, give hugs and kisses until the next time we met. My memories of Aunt Mary Ann will forever be in my heart. She was a wonderful who truly loved her family. She would sacrifice everything for them. She was a loyal and faithful wife to my Uncle Billy. They were a team. I love you Uncle Billy, Gregory, Gina, Tara and all your family members. We are family no matter what. Prayers for our good Lord to bring each of you peace and comfort during this time of great loss.
