James Marshall Gibson of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the age of 69, in the comfort of his home.

James was a longtime resident of Pearl River County. He enjoyed being a Heavy Equipment and Crane Operator. He had a knack for horse trading and loved his family. One of his favorite things to do was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Young (Matthew), grandchildren, Matthew Young, Jr., and Dorian Young; son, Jay Gibson (Shannon), grandchildren, Cameron Gibson, Carter Gibson, Cade Gibson; son, Justin Gibson, grandchildren Kaylee Gibson, Justin Gibson, Jr.; daughter, Shelbie Gibson; one brother, Tom Gibson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard Thomas Gibson and Margie McCory Sills; one daughter, Michelle Gibson.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Life Church, 131 East 3rd Street, Picayune, Mississippi, officiated by Bro. Leo Burge.
