The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Rooks can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Joyce Thomas Carpenter
Condolence: So sorry to hear. Prayers and condolences to the family. As a child the two families, the Thomas's and the Rook's spent many a day on picnics at the Old Beach, BBQ's in the back yard and I believe Uncle Charles even helped Mom learn to drive after Dad passed. Many good memories of those days. Again, sorry for your lost. From the obituary it sounds like George had a full and productive life. I even have a memory of attending Jackie and his wedding. May God Bless the family at this time.

Condolence: I'm so sorry for the loss of Mr. George. I know he will be missed by you all. We were blessed to have your family as our neighbors for so many years. I can't talk about my childhood with their being mention of a Rooks family member or across the street. Great memories forever. Sending prayers and love for the entire family. Jamie F. Taylor
